Why not????? So, you're studying for your WSET or WSG exam and you don't have time to go to a formal tasting group, or you need extra practice but can't afford to or don't want to buy a bunch of bottles all at once. Here is a solution:
1641 Plymouth Road
Minnetonka, MN
There are over 100 wines to choose from, and you can pour yourself servings of 1 oz., 2 oz., or a full glass. The smaller sizes are absolutely perfect for just a taste. These would be about the same sizes you would pour if you were at a formal tasting group and trying several different wines in one sitting.
Wineside has classic examples of what would be on an exam, such as Loire Sauvignon Blanc, Rioja, Barolo, etc. And of course, there are wines from a lot of other places too, so if you've never tried a Cerasuolo di Vittoria or an Assyrtiko, here's your chance.
Go on your own or take some other wine geeks and do a quick tasting, or stay for lunch or dinner. The food is great too!
And good news! They have an outdoor patio, so when the sun is shining...
I hope you'll check this great new wine bar in the Twin Cities!
