In 2008 Staci graduated from Augsburg College with a plan to pursue a very different path. Realizing her passion lie elsewhere, she began working at Minnesota wineries, eventually finding her way to the Wine Professional Course at Saint Paul College (SPC) in 2011. Through the program at SPC she gained knowledge and experience in the wine industry which led to a career in wine distribution.
Staci started her career as a sales rep at Korta Katarina a small, local Croatian wine distributor. She was given the opportunity to represent a bigger but still niche portfolio at Oeno Distribution, becoming the first sales rep of the sustainable, family-owned focused distributor. She has recently taken a position at Bourget Imports. representing a broad portfolio of both European and domestic wines.

In 2016, Staci was chosen by the Les Dames d’Escoffier for their Wine Legacy Award that brought her to Chateau Ste Michelle as well as Washington D.C.
